Preparation
You are likely scheduled for a capsule endoscopy after completing the Patency Capsule. Please review the preparation instructions under capsule endoscopy to prepare for that procedure.
The preparation for the Patency Capsule consists of a clear liquid diet after lunch the day prior to the test. From 10:00 pm the evening before the test, do not eat or drink except for necessary medication with a sip of water.
