Board Certified in Gastroenterology
Dr. Kardan received his M.D from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and Health Services, Medical School, Teheran, Iran in 1968. He finished a one-year residency in Internal Medicine and OBGYN at the Presbyterian Medical Center University of Pennsylvania in 1975. He completed a three-year internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Rutgers Medical School in New Jersey in 1979. He completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Wright State University in 1981. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Wright State University School of Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians has been in GI practice since 1981 in the Dayton area. Dr. Kardan is married and has three children. His personal interests include traveling, tennis, and horseback riding.
